A comprehensive review of your cosmetic product label for full EU regulatory compliance, including INCI, warnings, claims, and mandatory information.

Description

Açıklama

Non-compliant labels lead to product recalls and market bans.

Ensuring your cosmetic product label complies with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 is essential for legal market access. Our Label Review service checks that all required information is present, accurate, and clearly presented, reducing the risk of regulatory issues, recalls, or fines.

We verify compliance with EU requirements regarding:

  • Ingredient Listing (INCI names): Ensuring all ingredients are listed in the correct order and using official INCI names, as required by Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.

  • Mandatory Warnings and Precautions: Checking that any required safety warnings (e.g., “Keep out of reach of children,” “Avoid contact with eyes”) are present, legible, and in accordance with Annex III.

  • Product Claims and Marketing Language: Reviewing claims such as “anti-aging,” “hypoallergenic,” or “natural” to ensure they are truthful, not misleading, and supported by appropriate documentation, in line with Articles 20 and 21.

  • Weight/Volume and Batch/Lot Information: Confirming that the net quantity, weight, or volume is clearly indicated and that batch or lot numbers are present for traceability and quality control.

  • Responsible Person and Country of Origin: Ensuring the label shows the Responsible Person’s name and address and the country where the product was manufactured, as required by Article 6.

This review ensures your product label is fully compliant, consumer-safe, and ready for market, supporting your Product Information File (PIF).
